Wannabe Trucker

Wow I hope thats the case... You have no idea how much that would relieve me. What a career move from police officer to truck driver thats awesome. What made you change? I originally was thinking of going to school to be a Police Officer! Thank you for the advice I hope thats my case and the state never got word of it! I didnt know things worked like that.

So an officer can write a ticket to someone and it never go on the MVR if the state doesnt get word of it? How often does this occur? That would be great!

Wow 16 weeks thats good...Alot of experience before you get out on the road is always good! Hope you have fun!

 

Ill keep you all posted... And being that I have never worked OTR I wouldnt be able to give you a valid answer...However I imagine that being able to listen to music and enjoy the open road and fresh air would be better than the constant wonder of when a patient is going to attempt to hit, throw objects, or attack me...Having to take down agressive patients and strap them to beds and etc is not that fun.

 

So heres an update...thought it wouldnt come but I have recieved a letter back from the Judge stating he will withold judication on my careless driving ticket as long as I take the 8 hour driving course. I was thrilled that this method worked of simply mailing a letter to the judge asking for it to be witheld.

So im now taking the 8 hour driver course. I will send this certificate in and hopefully soon the careless driving will be off my record. I will then restart my application process with Central Refrigerated as of now unless by then I find another company!
