Finally after a few setbacks that would take to long to explain, I'll be in SLC Monday for orientation. I'm exited about the chance to be with Prime, nervous about doing well. Still slated for FB's but just as exited to start out hauling a reefer. Feel free to stop in say hi if passing thru. All of you have been a great help, to help me stay motivated. Hope to see y'all out on the road.

Somethings take longer. Good luck with coming in and switching to fb!! Reefer is a good way to get some experience and basic backing skills.

yeah, there is not a lot of backing with a flatbed. you will do it some, but no where near as much if you were in a reefer or dry van all the time. good luck.

Thats funny... I seem to do a lot of backing... Backing with a spread axle is harder than with tandems. Jobsites are some of the worst places to try and meneuver. Most werent never meant for a 48' trailer and a condo sleeper.

Out of curiosity, I took and passed the hazmat test on the feb 10, I still have'nt recieved the background check back. the background check for twic was done in like ten days. any ideas who i could contact about this. Or should wait a couple more weeks. the lady at dmv said it could be up to 6 weeks, but others on the forums said they had it back in two weeks

I can honestly say I have only had to back my trailer 2 times since I started Prime. I would hate to have to put a trailer where some of these reefer guys put them.

    McBjork Thanks this.

Guess you don't work a hard as ORD... Did he tell ya about the backing maneuvers he did on the moon delivering a rover... No reefer would go there... But he did!
