    Yes, 6 months OTR megacarrier. I'm planning to stay here until I get 1 year and then decide what I do.

    Ya, smart move. Get that 1 year, with a clean record, and you can start to look else where.

    Hey crazy I work for FedEx ground on the small p&d side of things and my terminal is right next to FedEx freight and every day I drive by and look at the yard with all the tractors and trailers thinking it would be awesome to work there I'm 30 and just got my cdl A and now waiting on the back ground check from the tsa for hazmat does FedEx freight hire people with no experience for driver positions?

    I know different barns do have a apprentice type program. My barn does not.
    Just check with that particular terminal, and ask them.

    You are in a good spot at FedEx Ground. See if you can run linehaul with them, get your experience with them, then try to get on with Freight.
