Won't the company depend on if your CDL school is on there list?
I'm looking into Mid-Florida Tech since it's 8 week's, "LOCAL" and I hear good thing's.
Last 3 year's are clean: Except for a ticket I literally received about a week ago(UNFORTUNETLY) for speeding.....exactly 15 over(how convienient), I wasn't personally aware that my Chevy Cavaleir was rocket powered off the line, while driving behind another vehicle going Up Hill no less.............?
The only way one get's out of a ticket EVER is if you fight it & the officer doesn't show-up, other wise it's all you & you even pay extra.
So fighting it seem's a waste of time for sure( and even more money).
Your take on a good FL company that would take a newbie after Mid Florida Tech would be appreciated.
Thanx in advance -
Fight the ticket and see the outcome before even going to school, otherwise find another line of work.. Everytime I have ever gone to court over a ticket it was reduced (even when the cop shows up) to just court costs which usually are equal to what the original ticket was, and the points and record of it were taken off(expunged). It is definately beneficial and wont make things worse, at least try. I dont think you will get hired very easily(if at all) with that recent ticket of 15 over.
