Anyone know about Garner in Findlay?

I am heading to orientation on Wed and in with a trainer for a week or so on Sunday. Just curious if any one has any info on this company. I will be the only lady driver they have currently. I drove for 8 years before, but have been out of the truck for the last 5. I am a little rusty so I am glad to have a trainer to help me get back into it. The company seems very geared towards treating their drivers well and never really heard any of their drivers complaining. Thanks for any information you can offer!

 

So far so good! Everyone seems very helpful and they keep me moving during the week and home on the weekends! I have been in my own truck now for 2 weeks. I really like how they send you the next load usually before you finish the current load you are on. That gives you time to plan your trip and prepare. If you are a new driver, just a few words of advice... stay out of the truck stops! You just waste time and money when you wander around aimlessly. You will have times where you can browse all the goodies during long breaks but you can't make any money there (unless you are from the reptile family) LOL! Keep moving and you will make some money! I like that Garner is a smaller company. I have driven for a number of years but I got out for a while and have just recently gotten back into the truck. I have driven for both big and small companies and somewhere in the middle seems to be the ideal size. Big enough to have the right benefits and small enough to know you by name. Good luck!
