There was a wind advisory on the Mackinac this afternoon, I waved to all the door slammers as I pulled my skateboard past them at the waiting area and proceeded across the bridge, I was nice and even waved with all my fingers lol

    Treefork Thanks this.

In beautiful Indianola, Miss at the dollar general dc waiting for my appt.
Ya gotta love these places with only inbound parking and boocoo miles from any trk stop.
I've delivered here before so when empty hopefully there is a spot that I can sneak into,
And blend in with the incoming.

Dropped my loaded trailer at the customer and they have not MTs, so I'll take my 10 hour and hope they have one in the morning. Oh, I'm in Tipp City, OH at the Meijer DC and there are two other Roehl drivers here too. We're all part of the dedicated fleet. I have a pick up in the morning outside Chicago going to Minneapolis on Tuesday.

So how does your hometime work out on one of them dedicated fleets? I am considering a return and know there have been dedicated runs near me in the past.

Depends on the account but I'm on the Georgia Pacific account. Supposed to be home every weekend for 34-48 hours.

I could have pulled off a 34 reset...but then it would have been too tight on the back end for me...so i guess I will run some recap hours til I get the chance to do a 34...

Sitting at the TA in Madison, WI. Prime spot with internet! Of course being OD, other drivers give me some room too! :biggrin_25525:

Notez, Tell me how the weather is up home! I just slid south along I-90 and didn't get a chance to go home. Would have been nice to see my little one.

At the little Pilot Road Ranger in Mendota, IL. Got one of the last three spots. I think they only have 25 spaces here. Well, I now know why more people don't take dedicated fleet jobs. Its a rough and busy job. This is the end of day two and I've racked up three deliveries and 1057 miles. Should be an interesting week.
