Well after looking for quite awhile I'll be going with W/S . That's School & Employment. Seems to be a few good one's out there and I hope this is the right one for me .. W/S seems to be a company that could work for me. Any drivers out there that could tell me what I could expect ? I'm in the western area Ca,( don't hold that against me ) This will be a change I'm looking forward to . Any advice and or information I'd appreciate . Looking forward to get off this computer and on some Black Top. Thanks Sal

Good luck Sal. When you starting? I decided to go with W/S too, I'm just trying to get all the preliminaries (mine and the company's) done in time to go to the 10/22 class. I'm not sure if I'll make it in time. If not though, I'll just have to wait until 11/26.

Sal,
I have studied many of the top trucking companies in the Western US for the last 8 months and Watkins/Shepard is the company I will chose when I decide it is the right time for me to go trucking. I like the 30 day training and then not having to go out with a trainer for 4-8 weeks like most companies. You made a very good choice and let us know when you start and how training goes for you.
Take care,
Brad -
Good luck to you guys at school. Watkins Shepard sounds like a good comapany to go with from what I have read here on the boards. Keep us posted and let us know how things go for you down the road.

Jon.....as far as it sounds I'll be able to make the 10/22 class. Although I'd like to get more snow training in. Being from Ca , I haven't had alot of winter snow experience. Anyway good luck and maybe I'll see ya there. Sal
