So now why did they report on the Canadian truck hijackings a month ago? We have been driving up there quite awhile... seems that they reported on the Mexican one as there was just a bust done and found they have had that many tractors and trailers as well as found that people had been killed over this... where is the bias? What do newspapers have to gain or loose over NAFTA?? Spanish newspapers going to find their way into the US? Dont think so. Though this could happen in the US just as easily, and the "softer" truck jackings are reported here just as well, so why not report something that may affect our drivers just as done here? Maybe it should be suppressed?

Which part of my post did you find amusing? Which part tasteless?

Well, without making too many assumptions, I'm a former U.S. Border Patrol Agent who actually WORKED the border. I am also an ex local police officer and spent years working in an illegal "safe-haven".
So judging by my life experiences and intricate knowledge of what is going on (both in Mexico and in the U.S.) I feel that I'm much more capable of expressing meaningful comments on the issue than YOU are....in WYOMING.
-
Would the reason you are ex-border agent, ex-police officer have anything to do with racially stereotypical views?
As far as me being in Wyoming, that has no bearing on my opinions. If you aren't tough enough to live here, that's not my fault. -
Well, since you asked, I am tired of law enforcement. If you've ever chosen to put it all on the line, day after day, for low pay, while making very little overall difference in the "big picture"...you'd understand.
While my views may seem "stereotypical" to you, they are, for the most part, extremely accurate. However, I'm not about to play "fantasy-land" so you'll sleep better at night. I happen to have the cajones to state things as I see them.
I always find it amusing when outsiders sit on the sidelines in Wyoming and express opinions on topics they know nothing about. -
I guess I need a geography lesson because I was not aware that South Carolina, where you say you are from was on the border with any other country. I guess your opinions on border issues is about as moot as my opinion seems to be to you.

tough enough to live in wyoming c i knew you would amuse me today.

I thought about moving their but im not fat enough yet to with stand the windy winters. I hear i have to build up a winter coat of blubber and lard.

Guess i will have to stay in the south for now -

I served 8 years in the U.S. Armed Forces, saw combat during the Gulf War, so I am fully aware of what it's like to "put it all on the line".

I suppose your views involve sombreros and mules as well.

Even though they are wrong.

Don't get pissy with me just because the world isn't one big happy love-in, Dorothy. I guess we'll agree to disagree.
SC is a major safe haven for illegals, so I've dealt with my fair share, and am well aware of the harm they cause and threats they pose. But you won't hear much of it in the media because "it's biased", as you say? (Spoke more Spanish in SC than in AZ).
Because you "served 8 years in the U.S. armed forces" doesn't lend you any credibility on the issue of mexicans. Or the media. Or anything else at all, really.
If you're going to quote me in an effort to rebuke my comments, I only ask that you make sense.

So now you call me Dorothy and I am homosexual, sounds like another personal attack, isn't that against the rules?
