Mdavis, most likely they think you will be a good fit if they are going to bring you out. It will all work out for you. Just be ready for orientation.
Tyson, say your name up on the board with the orientation date today. If I can swing by next week I'll stop in and say hi. But with me being here today doesn't look like I'll be here next week...lol. They do have a row of coronados setting there do you should be getting in one of them.Mdavis0928 and trucker43 Thank this. -
Thanks again. Just know some companies will do that to you and then you wasted you time and then have to ride back on another bus trip back home.
trucker43 Thanks this. -
Also believe you need to strick while the Iron is Hot and not put things off. Because good thing don't happen that offen.
trucker43 and Daniel.trawick Thank this. -
That statement is so true. But I am also impatient lmao so I do that anyways.

Ok going to go on a little rant here so don't mind me.
For the last few trl's I have pick up there has been things wrong with them that I feel the last driver should have fix before dropping them. Now I have also stated that this company needs good drivers. To me a good driver will get his equipment fix as needed to pass a DOT inspec. and be safe going down the road. I know getting something fix might mean your down for a day as you don't know when you will be out the shop. But just think if every driver made sure he left a good operating trl then the down time for fixing one will be very low. Now the last 3 trl's I have had fix have been with lights, abs system and brakes. Now everything but the brakes I was able to fix myself with out going to a shop. The brakes was a valve issue that took 4 hours and over $600.00 to fix. The light easy fix just had to go buy some lights and the abs was because the wire was cut. Now I know not every driver will want to get dirty but if you are going to drive it take pride in your job. Not doing your job makes the rest of us look bad. I take pride in my job not wanting to give any DOT officer the chance to find something on me. I want to make sure if I realy need to that I have trl brakes to stop the truck and trl. Save the life's in front on me and myself. Am I asking that you be a team Player, yes. To have and keep a good company you need to have good drivers. I am here just like everyone else and earn a paycheck but to also do a good job. The term get what you pay for will not change until a good company knows they have nothing but good drivers. Just my 2 cents. Check out your equipment and make sure that it is good to go before you go.Bumper, THE ROOKIE and trucker43 Thank this. -

I hear ya there Daniel, I have also picked up a couple of trailers that have had something wrong with them and had to get them fixed... Some drivers just don't care, but, I do... If I know about it, I'm darned sure getting it fixed, don't care if I have to set a day... In fact, I just did it today... Had a short in the trailer lights and it took them a while to find it...
trucker43 Thanks this. -
Oh yeah Daniel?? I'm sitting at the Flying J right now... I got unloaded finally, after sitting there forever... I then went over to CT Power to get the trlr short fixed, then went to Peterbilt and had the APU's first service done, then went up to Freightliner and got a couple of little things fixed on the truck...
trucker43 Thanks this.
