I gotta go with IP and U2, These guys are stupid BUSY. QC most of the time. Phone when absolutely necessary. He's keeping you rolling and that is all that matters. Don't bug him unless you have to at least not till you get to know him better. Mine has a VERY dry sense of humor. Took a while to figure him out. thought he was always mad at me. Turns out he was ##---ng with me. :biggrin_2556::biggrin_25520:

So absolutely no loads going to Washington State my FM says. I looked on DAT and saw 5 flatbed loads going to the Seattle area. So OK, I asked him if he could get me a load to UT, AZ, NV then get me a load home so I'm atleast making some money. 8 hours since I last talked to him and still no load. So do I get paid for sitting around when Prime can't come up with a load for me?

    Company Driver? I forget.

Layover pay for Company: every 24hr period you are not ASSIGNED/DISPATCHED a load.

You can be assigned a load and the pickup could be 2 days out and you get no layover pay. Though my guy kicks me some money in some non qualifying layover situations.

I'm in Cali too. Tried to deliver 24 hrs early. Our "work in" yesterday turned into our scheduled appointment this morning. Its been a couple hours and it's not looking good on until tomorrow.

We could of sat in Reno for 40 hours instead of the 16 on Sunday... We would have been trapped with the chain restriction on Donner this morning and I probably would have given back the $200 I won at craps on Sunday.

40 hours at Reno could have been a bad thing also. 30 min after I posted my last, I got a load heading to WA. And yep, I'm company, and had no load for over 24 hours.
