The shop at the exit noted in the title...has anyone had experience with them?

    Thanks!

I once talked to one driver who said he used that shop and said he trusted it. I know that's not a lot to go on.

There is a good one on I-20 Exit 562 near Tyler, Tx.... They have a huge inventory of new and used radios for all CB freaks.

Maybe, but then they'd want to charge more than I'm willing to pay and likely wouldn't do the kind of work I need. And who's to say you can't find talent without a degree? For example, I give you Bill Gates. But this isn't going to turn into a debate. If someone can attest to the work done at this facility, or one near by, please chime in. Otherwise, don't.

I've had him fix some lights in mine and I didn't have any problems, seems like a nice guy. IF he wasn't anygood with that many truckstops there, he'd be out of business.

There is one in Memphis that has been business for years, and it ain't any good! Every CB shop has it "fans", doesn't mean they do high quality work though. Maybe they get 50% of the radios right, or close, maybe more, maybe less. I prefer a shop that gets it right 99.9% of the time, and if they don't, they gladly do it again and make it right!!!

Just another thought, there's a CB shop at the Petro off I285 in Atlanta at exit 12. I don't remember seeing anyone actually post about that place, but I hear them calling out a lot, and I have heard drivers complimenting them on their work as they pass through.

Also, if you run I85 up towards SC, there is Wolfman Electronics at exit 164 in Georgia. A few of the guys I work with use it and have no complaints, but I've seen some negative posts here about that place as well.
