Sitting on a side street in Olathe, KS. I have a delivery at 0800 in the morning. It's a hand unload of cardboard concrete forms. It took 3 hours to get it loaded, so I hope the unload goes faster because I have a 2nd stop at 1000 a half hour drive away in Kansas City. Then I have an 1100 appointment for a live load somewhere in Kansas City to deliver Thursday evening in northern WV. I have about a 2 hour window to make the thursday delivery, so I hope everything goes smoothly. I should be beating on some wood somewhere I think! Something's gonna go sideways, I can just feel it!

Hmmm, anything and everything, or nothing. <---- That last option has the least probability, but would be the best! :biggrin_2551:

Back at Phoenix Terminal after 14 out and headed home for 7. Nice miles this time-Phoenix to LA to Rice Lake,WI to Ironwood,MI to Marshfield,WI toMerced,CA to Pittsburg,CA to Phoenix,AZ . Getting to feel comfortable with the securement and tarping as I'm still a newbie but like being a flatbedder!!

I screwed up this morning and missed my turn. Pulled into a parking lot to turn around. The way out was to tight so ran over a curb and some grass. Parking lot sweeper saw me so I called my FM. I figured best to admit the mistake before it gets called in. In my opinion it keeps my integrity intact. My FM said he'd look out for it if we get a call but didn't seem all that concerned. Did I do the right thing by calling? Only time will tell.

Unless I hit something solid like a light pole or trafic light or another vehicle or building, or I put tire tracks all over a lawn like I didn't know there was even a road there,,, I don't worry about it. As a matter if fact, I'm getting unloaded (well, waiting to get unloaded), right now and I left my mark in the grass across from the silly ally dock I'm backed into. It'll grow back. As for your situation, if the guy that saw you really cared, he might call in on you, but probably not. Your FM should understand that little things like that happen once and a while. No damage to the truck and like I said, unless you really effed up the grass, no one would probably call. But, as a vet you know the drill, CYA, can't hurt even if your FM doesn't care.
