In Lancaster after a bad night.Going down I30 in Texas west bound. I almost got hit head on. A 4wheeler traveling the wrong way down the interstate in the hammer lane.

I was in the hammer lane passing a FFE truck and all of the sudden headlights coming towards me and the FFE truck is still beside me. The FFE truck had to come down on the brakes in the right lane because I only had a few seconds at 64 to react and took partially into the right lane and the four wheeler rode the shoulder in the hammer lane.

barely miss each other and that scared the hell out of me. That is twice in less than two weeks. First was 80+ MPH winds in Wyoming outside Larame almost blew the truck over.

Ive had it! I don't make enough money to deal with this crap ! #### governed trucks gonna get me killed someday..

    Yup.

Going faster in those winds would have made it much safer.

Actually, going faster towards an oncoming car would have too.

There are usually wind warnings in WY. Did you ignore them?

if the truck was not turned down i would have passed the truck already and would have not been in the hammer lane that long..

winds have nothing to with a turned down truck
