    Hello to all..I'm a truckers wife or soon to be ,he starts orientation on Monday.

    I'm looking for some other wives going through the same thing. I also hope you all will be kind to him out there on the road. This is a major life change for us.

    Looking forward to having someone to talk to in the lonely days to come.

    If I'm not in the right spot please someone point me in the right direction.

    Hello, and sorry for not responding sooner, I've been working in several different countries this year, (and its only March!), so not had much internet time.

    You don't say whether you work, or whether you have kids at home, because those two things will make a huge difference in how you handle this.

    And after a while you will find you just get used to it. I saw my hubby at New Years,and have no idea when I will next see him, but like I say, its just a case of getting used to the lifestyle and building a life without him.
