Currently working at R &L Carriers linehaul just tired of the night shift and hooking up doubles. Had a recruiter from jb hunt call me about a cns account deliver groceries to stores such as stop shop and others. I heard bad things and good things about the company so dont know what to believe i was wonder if anyone here on the forums do this account. By the way the recruiter told me its no touch freight 1040 a week on 5 days 2 days off 9am - 12pm start time everyday and pay .49 cent a mile and give 175 weekly but something to me just sound fishy about this. So i was just wonder if anyone was on this account and can give me some feedback just dont wanna jump into another job.

I have a few freinds that work on a food account for jb in Atl they seem to be happy there. They have a 1200.00 a week guarantee and are only out two nights a week and off the full weekend . Not to bad i think, there a good company and a lot better than they used to be.

Unrealistic scheduleing times....they will expect you to meet ALL deadlines and appt times. You WILL be called into a terminal if you get written up too many times for running off of you logs and getting dot violations. They are NOT driver friendly. Most of the dedicated and local or regional runs are planned at 55mph. They will tell you it's pre planned at 45mph, but it's a lie. They "push" the drivers hard and if you go into violation, you WILL be written up. The money is there, just like how they say. The job is what they say it is, but the appt times are super super tight. They do not factor in your breaks(except 10hr restart) like lunch, restroom, shower, traffic ect....If you can't meet all of their appt times (and jb hunt does not reschedule for any customer) ....you're fired. They love fireing people there.:biggrin_25515::biggrin_25515:

I worked for JB at the C&S in Northeast, MD for a couple months before transferring to the Rite Aid account. It was a pretty decent acct, they paid $35 day for showing up and between $.45 - $.55 per mile depending on seniority with stop pay. Sometimes you did have to move freight off trailer onto the dock, just depends on the customer. For the start times, it just depended on the run, start times would vary but usually started 6am to 11am.

Anywhere from 8-12 hrs, depending on the run. They give out the load assignments the night before so you know where you are going.
