Good morning everyone,
I have visited this forum for the past couple of weeks now. I have been researching and entertaining the idea of a career change. I want to say kudos to the moderators and all the members here that makes this forum successful. There is a wealth of information here that has helped me in so many levels I can't thank you enough.
I have an appointment with Roadmasters today to satisfy any additional information I seek before making my final decision for the career change.
I plan to pay for the school up front to minimize my cost and to eliminate the need to sign a contract. I am also expecting to work at least 2 years OTR for the experience so I may be able to take on local jobs.
I think home time will be most important to me for I have responsibilities and family to tend to so being gone weeks at a time would prove most difficult for me.
I am open to any and all advise. Thank you and best regards to all who visit here.
