Anybody else just downright frustrated with WS dealers never stocking anything? I got 2 out of 6 items today and felt lucky.

.40glock: its not only WS dealers. Seems like many items i try to get from local fleetpride dealer is not on shelf. Have to wait till they bring it in from another store or warehouse? No one stocks anything anymore...:biggrin_2553:

Between having money tied up in inventory and having to pay taxes on that inventory and the possibility they might get stuck holding items that don't move, they try to keep stock to a minimum. They make more profit when items pass through their hands rather than entering their inventory.

We have the same issue here.. If you are not looking for Chock blocks or black mud flaps you will need to order it.

Here in Orlando, my nearest WS dealer is 80 miles away too. Last Friday I ordered 4 shocks and a hood hinge, both of these they used to stock as I've bought them before. Shocks are in, but no hinge. Maybe Monday.

Um, ok. It has nothing to do with truck drivers, and everything to do with parts trying to save money and make the owner pay next day air, if you really need it that bad. I guarantee the Peterbilt and KW dealer stock hood hinges.
