I don't have a pic but was in TX one night near a base and they decided to practise full afterburner takeoffs with B-1s, pretty cool at night to see.

    40cal,

Looks like no.4 is a pair of b-25 Mitchells. Tailplanes are the right shape, but can't really make out the nose to be sure.

Not sure but no 4 looks like a couple of A=10 Warthogs, could be Mitchell B-25s but they are very rare

You may be right Hammer. I don't know how many b25s are still in flyin condition. I did see one flying pretty low just west of Fort Worth a year or so ago, they were having an airshow. I think most of the a-10s are flew by national guard outfits now.

    They are definitly NOT A-10's
Hard to tell what they are, they are for sure WW2 era
I agree could be B-25, or maybe even B-24
Lots of them come to airshows around the country.
It looks like the front one has a gun turret on top
even possible to be B-17's Really hard to tell from that angle ...

Cool picture though, I try to upload an it keeps telling me "Upload fail"
    I'll try again later ....

Believe or not, Flash, still 45 of 'em airworthy!

After spending a little more time, they're almost certainly Mitchells. Fuselage shape, shape and height of the tails, turret location, you can just make out the little pod below the ####pit.

I believe the number for pair are B2's. If you look at the rear vertical stabilizers they appear to be slanted rearward. That didn't happen during WWII aircraft. It is a little difficult to tell, but my money would be on the B2.

Mig 29 is a BAD ##### MO FO

Back in 1990 or so, the Blues did a show over Moscow, the Soviets then allowed two of their Mig 29's to tour with the Blues for their remaining show schedule, they came to a town about 50 miles of here a week later,
Saw the regular show, and then a Mig took to the air,
MY GOD!!!!!! That plane is IN SANE !!!!

Show ended with a typical outstanding show by the Blues ..
Hour or so goes by and I hear a jet start to whine, then # 7 of the Blues (Press plane, 2 seater) fires, One of the Migs rolls out of staging area
and lines up and starts a EXTREMELY Loud take off roll, Full A/B
Takes it straight up and into the clouds...The Blues # 7 rolls down the runway also full A/B and does a muscle climb over the numbers at the opposite end, and into the clouds as well...

About an 1/2 or so later they do a couple passes over the what's left of the crowd and then they land..... I went over to the staging area to get some pictures of the Mig as it came into staging...
It came in and parked and the canopy opened, and what do I see,
the BLUE ANGEL Pilot is in the pilot seat, and the Mig pilot is in the RIO spot, (The 29 is similar to an F-14 with 2 crew)...
I look over to the Blues number 7, and the Other Mig pilot is in the pilot seat of the Blues plane with the Blues leader in the back seat....
They swapped aircraft for a flight !!!!

Talk about making the hair on your arms stand straight up, when only 10 years prior we were worried the Soviets were going to nuke us at any given minute.....

About 2 weeks later I was reading a flying/aircraft magazine and they had an article about it, it seems the US Government AND the Soviet Government threw a FIT over it.....They were not happy !!!!

I will see if I can't find those pictures and post them here....
