Will do ! I'm always ready to learn something new. I plan on refreshing myself with the driver manual the week before I go so its fresh in my mind.

I have been watching the weather and see that it has not been too pleasant for you. Looks to be better next week. Thanks for the heads up. My recruiter's assistant called to confirm my arrival. I guess there will be another gal joining me. I have been reading the manual also and you bet I will arrive willing to learn and with a "POSITIVE" attitude. Any idea how long graduates are waiting for a mentor? I saw you were requesting a non-smoker. Any luck? I went to the drivers license place today and had them give me a print-out on what tests I took. I think my recruiter has asked me 7 times already so I thought I had better look at my permit and it shows nothing on endorsements even though I passed the airbrakes and combination. Did not want to take any chances. See you soon!

The weather has been drizzley, they call it rain butI don't think they've seen real rain. We won't know about our mentors until after orientation. I will have to take what I get as I need to get out and feed my kids. I pray the first available mentor is a non-smoking owner operator with a nice clean rig. After the old trucks we've been driving that would be a welcomed change. Hope to see you both Sunday! A laptop or smart phone is helpful, but not all have that.

Thanks for all the info, is there anything that you would recommend bringing ? Other than what's in the closing form ? I have my smartphone and will be bringing my laptop, I was just wondering about any other useful items. Once again thanks for giving us the heads up.

Small pocket notepad (spiral), Black pens and pencils, White out pen -fine point, laundry soap and Quarters, basic dishes to micro and eat on, plastic silverware, can opener, GLOVES, WORK GLOVES! for both driving and trailer drops etc. and a smile!
Beardawg Thanks this. -
My recruiter also told me to bring a calculator, a small flashlight and raingear. There is a Walmart across the bridge in Clarkston if you need anything.
Beardawg Thanks this. -
Cool thanks ! I was just thinking today whether or not I should bring a small notebook. So I was told I'm wasting my time rereading the Driver manual because we don't have to take another written test. Is this true ? If it is what should I be studying about ?

Thanks round2! I won't be there until next Monday, will you still be there ?
