Have a preplan to pick up in Cincinnati and then head home for the weekend. I'm still in the loaner truck and supposed to get my truck back on Monday.

Sitting in a parking lot while someone figures out how to route me home.... Uhm, I sat in Gary for 3 hours yesterday, you couldn't have had me just relay that load and pick up another heading home? Funny thing, my empty message went through and then I received a msg saying "got you empty message and will try to have you a load in 45 Mins or by __ AM __PM well looks like it was off a bit. Been 90 mins.

I got empty at 8am this morning. I was supposed to get a preloaded trailer at 1600 this afternoon. Not preloaded! Not ready until 2000 tonight at the earliest! This is the third time this week that my preload hasn't been!
I'm getting my 10 hours at the Pilot on I65 near Huntsville and at 1830 I'll head over to the shipper and hope that the load is close to being ready. I'm supposed to be in Westchester, VA by tomorrow evening. That's a 680 mile run. Not sure how it's going to work. I'll probably try to knock out a few hours tonight and do the rest tomorrow. I don't want to get on the night rotation. Once that happens, it's hard to get off it.
Oh well. I got a shower and plenty of rest. It's a bit warm. I'm trying to save my battery pack because I don't know how long it will really last if I run the A/C on the ParkSmart system in this new Cascadia. I have my fan going, and I have been running the A/C for a bit every hour to keep it tolerable. This is another reason I like driving in the day and sleeping at night. Much cooler at night even in the summer. -
At the Roehl Truck Stop in Gary again. Got a short run to Battle Creek, MI. Hopefully they can get me to Marshfield soon to get the qualcomm replaced. Having to call in everything and use email to get all the info has not been fun at all.

Home till Monday morning and still have the loaner truck. FM couldn't seem to get an answer on whether my truck is done. I'm going to try and find out today myself. I have a load to Green Bay due Monday morning and then a load from Green Bay to Perrysburg, OH. My plan is to switch out trucks on my way back through Gary.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Let's see..time to play catch up
He unloaded 2 stops in North Carolina on Thursday and reloaded a load of mulch in VA going to a Lowes in Altoona PA. Lowes wouldn't unload him yesterday, so he unloaded this morning and is now picking up a relay load in Breezewood that he's bringing back home. He'll be home by 1pm or so, but this load to Canton unloads between 10pm (sunday night) and 6am Monday morning..

Got home yesterday evening for four days off, ( AWESOME) ! I met the cheesecake guy at a customer in Jefferson City MO. HE is a l/o and I bought some cheesecake from him (FANTASTIC). IF you see him go and get some cheese cake he has all kinds of different flavors. He drives a red columbia and it says cheese cake guy on the hood.
