Yup, the best time to do a walk-around is after you get done in the truckstop. No telling who might hold a grudge out for your carrier - or you.

Keep your trailer locked too - especially if you have an inspection door. Someone threw a Molotov ####tail into one of our loaded trailers a year or so ago. Total loss.

To think something like this was done randomly is a stretch to me...

Could have been an x employee of the company he drives for too. You just never know. He could have done everything right, but this person has a grudge against the company, because they had a bad experience. Its totally sick for someone to touch someone elses equipment like this.

Yep, that makes more sense. The driver was constantly late becaused he trashed the truck stops. The company made him sit which made him mad. After this and that he finally abandoned the truck and got his DAC dinged as such.
Then he come on TTR and posted how his company screwed him. After a bunch of stupid post and not following rules he got banned.
Now super pissed and driving for a Craigslist ad for 25cpm in a wore out Century, here comes LoneWolf in the same company truck and parks beside him. LoneWolf goes in the store for a drink and some MonkeyButt. He left that out because he didn't want to be embarrassed. Out he comes, and after his tush feels better, he decides to take off and WHAA BAM!! Dang, I crapped my pants. So much for the MonkeyButt. He had to go in and take a shower....

It went something like that! :biggrin_2559:

Still sick though. Someone needs to open a can of whooparse on him!

I don't park on the fuel island, or beside the scale unless there are no parking spots and it's going to be an in and out trip. I had parked towards the rear of the J where they have the large open grass lot. As far as cutting somebody off, I'm not a speed racer that has to worry about doing crap like that i coast at 62, when I pass I bump up to 65 until I can see the entire vehicle I just passed in my mirror.

I'm thinking I was the wrong company truck, wrong place, and wrong time.

Just a dumb ##### PO'd at the place you worked for, or just jealous cause your truck might be nicer then his, who knows....

I swear though, If I was to see someone doing that to mine or someone else's truck
I might just have to beat them with said crowbar, then call the police...
What is someone really going to get charged with ??
They'll slap on the wrist and say have a nice day,
Meanwhile had you not seen this, you go down the road and it comes loose and goes through someone's car window and impales someone,

People need to seriously think about the stupid moves they make !!!!

I can't imagine a disgruntled employee going after an innocent driver. But you never know. You could have looked at someone the wrong way. I have never had my equipment messed with either, but I have had a trailer scraped within 5-10 minutes of my being gone.

I can think of a few minor ones being he caught it before he drove off and something happened but hat kind of serious charges could someone face for this and the potential attached to it?...
