Roehl Driver Check In

Sitting at a pilot near Watag IL, waiting on midnight and some more hours for my final stop on this run, I do get to go to Gary for fuel tomorrow, but seeing as I have till Monday near Detroit for delivery I guess I may just remember the fuel stop........this time. LOL

 

At the TA in Lake Station, IN. I couldn't stay in Gary for a 3rd night. I waited for about 3 hours to get a load, which I didn't mind because I was taking it easy and relaxing at the Pilot in Battle Creek. I had to go back to Gary to pick up a relay going to Bedford Heights, OH. Should be an easy day tomorrow being that it is a drop and hook and doesn't have to be there until 1600 tomorrow.

 

Delivered tonight and my next load doesn't pickup until 0900 on Monday morning! I think the planners must hate me! I'm going to get my 34 hr reset at the WV welcome center on I81 near Winchester. Seriously, tomorrow is going to be a long and boring day. I can only play Angry Birds so much!

 

Man that sucks! You couldn't get into a truck stop?

 

I drove through one and it was packed tight. There is another one near my shipper that I might go to tomorrow, but I don't really like truck stops. I got a shower yesterday and I'm set with groceries, so if I can stay away from the parking lot that smells like pee at a truck stop, I do. I have a few books and if the weather's nice, I'll find a bench under a tree and read for a while. Mostly just going to be bored. Besides, when I'm bored, I spend money at truck stops!

 

Rest areas are so much easier (and quicker) to get in and out of.

 

in Alabama at the oasis truck stop....speaking of pee smelling lots...oh yeah florida is getting toasty....I was at a loves today and the asphalt was already smelling of urine...ohhh yeah bring on summer lol

 

If it's the same cheesecake guy as before, he was popular in the office.

At the dropyard in Mogadore, OH. I got a pre plan to pick up in Streetsboro, OH at 1000 and will be heading to Rockford, IL. I wish I could just head there and shut down but of course I have a fuel stop in Gary so that is definetly out of the question. I guess I will just shut down at one of the truck stop before then. So I get here today and see that somebody took the gate ou iyt again. They just didn't knock the chain off. Oh no, whoever it was bent the gate so you cant even move I wonder if they called breakdown and told on themselves?
