When you turn, exspecialy a tight U turn, even backing at tight angles, your trailer tires are not so much rolling but sliding sideways across the pavement. These cause flat spots and imbalance which further compounds the issue.

Ruges, thanks for reply. I have done few years of local work where i had to back up into a dock some 20,30 times a day and i've never seen tires being worn off in such an unusual way. Problem that i have has happened in rather short period of time.(4-5 months)

Same axle spread, kingpin to axle distance, weight on the axle? If you dont think its from turning it could be an alignment problem, have your trailer aligned next chance you get.

Everyone has a good answer, but I can gaurantee you Its your brake cams. A few years ago, I had the same thing happen, high spots, the low spots all around the tires. I called the company office, and got another trailer for a few days, the finally got mine back, looked under the trailer, had all new cams, never happen again.

Spread axles are notorious for wearing tires. Otherwise, check the alignment.

Actually, I stoled your good tires and replaced them with my crappy ones.Hoped you wouldn't have noticed so quickly.
