VNL 660 -2001; Bad smel came into a cab.

    Bad smell came into a cab since November 2011. I can't find the problem.
    All exhaust pipes are good. Manifold gasket is brand new.
    The smell is similar to breather of bottom of engine. Is it possible to came into the cab? And How?
    The engine is 1 230 000 mi. But runs very good. Start on cold weather, heave good power.
    If i can't find the problem i heave to sale the truck.

    Any ideas???

    Check the exhaust flex pipe for cracks and all brackets where metal to metal connects under floor board I think u have a exhaust leak.

    Change the air filter, see if that helps

    Volvo is designed like a family van with hatch to engine area from cabin (not everebody knows). This hatch is held with 8 mm bolts with torx 35/45 heads. Insolation is ruber, like on Ford Aerostar ore Chevy Van ore Merc Vario for example (HA HA LOL). So chek it))))
