Good night from...

There's a couple of truck stops where you get off I-10 at 301 and turn north. They're 10 - 20 minutes from the dc on the south side of the interstate. Nothing else for miles. I was there a few weeks ago.

It is but I don't mind so much,keep getting up at 1 o'dark in the morning anyways....I'll hit the mac30 b4 that to see if I can keep moving,end of week push for miles now.

 

Yeah im there now....(the TA)and seems everybody is a bit"surly" today,lol. did you get any freight out of here?how long did you wait for a pp? and if so what did you pu after your drop? thanks,fr8

 

Got a pplan before I pulled out of the gate at dc. Pick up in Jax at Unilever nearby on the 295 loop to Food Lion dc in Elloree, SC. After that a 450 and 650 mile before a 2100 to Laredo.

At the J in Ripon, CA because I can't deliver 90 miles away a day early. As nice as the Lathrop terminal is they just don't have good coffee. The honey bees seem determined to come in and visit here.

Yeah it's that time or year now in calif(things are blooming now) you know the bees? wow that J can have some really surly people too.......sat there 3 days last year (jan 2011) place was packed ........toilets were a shambles,workers overwhelmed,hope it's not like that for you now...

 

Eloy, AZ. Due to I-40 still closed this morning, my DM routed me back to ALB and grab 25 to Los Cruzes and then I-10. Could not take the short cut due to a small mountain, and he could not even understand why I was being routed through Flagstaff in the first place. Oh well, this 1350 mile load turned into a 2069 mile load, and that was after just finishing a 1380 mile one.
