Roehl Driver Check In

Sitting a a rest stop in Jackson, MI. I deliver tomorrow morning here in Jackson. I told my FM I wanted to get to the house on Friday the 23rd. (I live in Denver.) I did this via QC when I left the house. I just got a preplan for a load going from Detroit to southern NJ for a Thursday, the 22nd, morning delivery. Could someone tell me where the "time machine" button is on this new Cascadia? I have been looking and I couldn't find it. So I called dispatch and they told me my FM has me listed as going home on the 30th. I screamed, "What's that?!?!". He said, "What's what?" He looked up the QC messages and found the one where I requested my home time and said he would send an email to my FM about it. I accepted the load to NJ, but I told them I really wanted to be home on monday the 26th at the latest. I have no personality problem with my FM. He seems like a nice guy. We don't fight or argue, but there have been a series of things that make me think he has more on his mind than work. I'm just sayin' I like the guy, but come on, ki9nd of flaky! (Yes, I know he has 30+ other drivers to worry about, but it's his job!)

 

He unloaded in Canton at 3:30am and then picked up a relay out of Mogadore that unloaded at 1pm in Alliquippa. He's still there because he ran out of time.

 

just finished phase one waiting on my trainer, should be sometime tomorrow to start phase two.

Got my truck back this morning just in time for me to switch out and head to Perrysburg for delivery. Ran the truck through wash to get thedust off and whole top part of windshield is leaking. So pissed but as you can imagine, there was no way I was turning it back into them!

 

It was nice to finally meet the infamous Treefork yesterday. Hope you are feeling better.

 

Wait till youre close to another terminal... Gary is so poorly staffed and its often a crap shoot if things get done right. Slap it together gary... lol i wouldnt have gone back either. Heck with mine i did not run thru wash. I realized it leaked when the snow fell on the NY thruway! Lol

 

Spoke with Breakdown and they agreed that I need to go to Appleton or Marshfield wfor repair. My preplan to Green Bay was canceled so we shall see. In the meantime I have duct taped the top of the window all the way across in case I hit rain.
