Here in Fontana. Originally had a PTA for this morning. Mac 30 last night and this morning, and was not impressed with what I saw, so pushed my PTA out until tomorrow, and shortly after, a nice PP for tomorrow morn. PU Riverside, all of 10K, heading to Cheyenne for early FRI. Then will be time to start to head for the home front. Have to be home on the 31st. First home time that I have no wiggle room. The wife is flying in on the 2nd.

Decatur terminal, there are 3 places in swift world that i prefer the terminal to a truckstop, despite the limited food and coffee options,Atlanta,Laredo and Dallas...all seem better for parking and safety compared to the local truckstop offerings........OMG.......in The Ta at baldwin fl I 10 ex 343,up last night for early delivery...........and omg! the lot lizards around that place...3 different ones strolling about..batting there eyes all flirty like, jesus.all I could do was roll my eyes everytime they tried to make eye contact..........creepy! ok maybe not creepy, but odd,strange....not my world at all!

I was there last year, spent an hour futzing with my tandems trying to get thel load to balance out and meet bridge law. It didn't and wasn't going to. Facing up to driving the 30 miles back to the shipper in Jax, after having already spent 8 hours there, I'm pounding away at the QC to let my DM know what's up.

LL walks up to my door and asks "Are you busy?" ... she got a curt and surly "Yeah!" She stood there for a second, then slunk away ... I have that affect on women.

NY I90 service plaza, heading to OH. Thursday AM unload. Going to see if I can sneak it in tomorrow nite and get a 3800 mile week.

See I'll have fun with them. Like telemarketers. I'll talk to them for a while, make them think they are gonna get some money, and then say "Oh, you want something? I thought you were bored like me and just wanted to talk" lol. I love wasting telemarketers times. Course I guess even marketers gotta make a living some how...

    Laredo TX, still.

Shouldn't be, though, as I have a load that is supposed to deliver in Houston at 0800.

    Gotta love the system.
I get a pplan that has an open window to pu between 03/20 1500 and 03/21 0759, delivering 03/21 at 0800. A t-call at the terminal.

If I picked it up right away I would have to take a 10 before delivery, which would make me late, so I decide to wait untill midnight to pu so I could do it in one shot.

Get to the terminal at midnight, fuel and go in to get the paperwork.

Well, I'm told, the CSR people went home at 1800 and the bol isn't there.
I'll have to come back in the morning. :biggrin_2556::biggrin_25521::biggrin_25513:

So I sent a mac22 with a new eta of 1800, and get to rearrange my sleep time once more.

I can't believe they dispatched a load without having the papers in order. :biggrin_25523:

It is worse than a train. It's a Swift truck.

Scipio, UT. Nice day. Gr8 weather. A stop in Barstow, Sisters, wash and wax the ride and get the tires dressed up. Up and off t0 Cheyenne in the morning. Looks like will have to stop in Laramie until 1 hour b4 del. Hours are real tight tomorrow, in fact, they are going to be tight all week. I refuse to take a 34 when I have at least 8 hours a day to run, and picking up at least 8 at midnight.
