Are you able to use this over a 3g or 4g connection. i am dropping dirrect tv at my house tired of paying 100 dollars a month with roku i add channels netflix amazon and huluplus and i can stream all of there tv movies etc. Also other channels like mlb

I know i will not be watching much tv in the truck but for restarts and maybe occasional program this is good entertainment

Sprint's 4g you can do it. one it has the bandwidth to get the job done, and two, it's the only 4g service that isn't capped at 5 gigs, which a Roku box will run through pretty quickly. If you're just using this at home, a cheap DSL account would be a better fit, if it's available. You can get one for as little as $15 a month.

Hulu has been a big disappointment since they came out with Hulu plus. There's not much to watch on the free service any more. They replaced all the full length movies with trailers and clips. I guess I have to pony up and pay.

Anybody else having luck using Roku on the road? We use Roku more than our cable at home now. Thinking of returning to driving and was interested in how this technology is currently working.
