I currently live in Oklahoma City, OK. I have been researching different schools within my area and outside of the states. I am having the hardest time trying to find the right school to go to. I understand that all schools have more issues than others, but I just need a little help on my decision. I am looking for the best qualified trainers that can provide me with accurate training, so I can be successful in this industry.

As I don't anything about your area ....I do wish you luck, It was not easy even where I live. But let me tell you to ask to go look at the range see what kinda trucks they use, and condition of the trucks. That might help you in making a good choice.?

Tour any school in person, ask questions. Talk with the instructors and students.

Have you looked at Central Tech in Drumright? PTDI certified, and seems to be well liked by a few others who've posted here.

If you have the itch to go to NC I highly recommend Trans Tech in Charlotte.

As recommended by another poster in the thread, you have one of the best courses in the nation at Central Tech in Drumright, OK. When I went there many, many years ago, there were people from California, Nevada, New Mexico, Okahoma, Arkansas, and the east coast in my class of about 15-20 people alone. People still come from other states to attend the course.

    The web site is http://tdt-ok.com/

Go there on your own buck and it will be the best decision you've ever made. I've been out of the industry for a few years and if/when I start trucking again, I'll go here.

You really can't go wrong at Central Tech AND it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
