but while with a trainer it's not team driving (at least with most companies) so I think he was pointing out that 2000 miles a week is possible

even then thats a BAD week. Solo i run 3000 to 3554 in 5.5 working days a week (i reset every weekend) (best week since i've worked here so far 3554) consisantly as long as ive worked here. Even if they're not teaming the trainer should be doing a little driving so 700 - 1000 miles a day should be what they are doing which would mean 4500-7000 is what they SHOULD be running.

Most of us yes, they are in the process of switching to E-logs. But they audit our logs (outside company) and match them to our QC, they have to match 100% so no fudgeing here :biggrin_2557:

I've been wondering about that. What all companies do you know of that pay percentage to company drivers?

My company is percentage based...but they are all owner operator...78% plus 100% FSC

I average 800-1500 miles a week and bring home 1500-2500 after fuel, home every night (well i stayed the night in the truck 5 times in the last 3 months) My pay depends on how hard i want to run, truck and trailer payed for so its not hard all the time, haha I average about 2.25 a mile including deadhead, fuel mpg averages to 6.81 so far

Most of the very small flatbed companies will pay the drivers percentage....you have to choose carefully, but it gives you a different mindset looking at the pay of the load rather than just wanting to drive as much as possible

As far as big companies that pay percentage only one i know of is tmc....but i have always ran for companies with less than 100 (or less than 11) trucks so i have never payed much attention to it. Maybe someone else can chime in and help?
