question is how did the trailer make it through the inspection process....(not that I give much to the inspection process...I have come out of it missing valve stem caps.....) Blue Prostars now...I am wondering if those are for the Reefer division??? I have seen some of the Bright Red prostars...(not the darker red with gray...Red like the Frieghtliners)....hmmmm

Sitting at my consignee in Milwaukee. Deliver at 8 in morning so I will get good sleep and have plenty of time to unload in morning.
Tree, get your truck back? I would have waited until my PM to report the issue for my second time, but it looks like I will be heading to a shop anyway. Did post on truck and see a wire just hanging. Looks like my coolant sensor broke off. No idea how or when as I didn't see it this morning or saturday and I didn't have any warning lights. Strange to say the least! -
I've been running with my check engine light on for over 30K miles, I don't even notice it anymore, it is an emissions regen problem
-
They never got to me. I asked today and they said it would have to go to dealer. They said I'd be better off running with it and trying to get to Marshfield. I agreed and so did dispatch so I am resting up and getting my student in the morning.
-
LOL, exactly what they told me. It's not a big deal, besides students don't need a sensor. Get under it and look!
-
Yeah it's just annoying because it clicks like a turn signal when red light blinks.

Just got the message that if you are on E-Logs, you don't have to send a message 30 everyday. It does it automatically now. Sweet! One less thing to do in the evening!

busy day...ran almost my entire 11....made my cons this morning for a drop and hook excep there was no hook...they didn't have any trailers...was told to pick up a relay in Gary going to Findley OH...got to gary about 04...low on DEF pulled up to the DEF pump...Locked!!! grrr...ran in scanned my paperwork grabbed my relay envelope...then prepared my truck for the washbay....bang out of service on the washbay...wonderful.....put all my antennas back on and unfolded the mirrors (don't realize how much I use them until I can't use them...felt lost a little)...went on the trailer hunt...found it...backed under...put my lock on..cranked up the legs...went to connect the lines...greattttt glad hand lock.....luckily maint. was there by then...went in asked about the trailer...was told it was just some reflective tape needing replaced on the ICC bumper...cool got the lock off and went and waited for trailer maint to open up...got in right away...(for once something going right).....finally got fuel and routing info.....and went WTF?? they wanted me to run south on 65 over to US30 then to 69 then back on 30 to run to 75 then back north to my exit for the cons..... sent message asking if I can just take 80 to 75....and waited...trailer got done in 20 minutes...I figured since I was waiting for an answer I repreparred my truck for wash...and took it through the now open wash bay...and then back to the fuel Islands for fuel and DEF (evidently Maint..has the only keys for the DEF...which is wonderful when you pull in at 3 am and need it and no one is there
) got fueled up (well as much as the pumps would let me on one shot you guys know how they work there)...still no answer back on my request...so I say screw it and ran the toll road all the way....bam made it to the cons early Drop and hooked...then got a scolding cause it cost the company 80 bucks in tolls for the load...(I saved them an easy 100 in fuel especially now) and then got a preplan about a relay I have to wait for in Toledo going to Ajax ON...(only an hour and 15 left on the clock...with no Idea where in Toledo)...beat feet to Toledo and called in..was told the Pilot xit 210..so that where I am now...and bushed...time for some shut eye...Thank God...

Seems to me that Roehl is "penny wise, pound foolish!" With Diesel up, having a truck run less should be the goal. Running a road that isn't stop and go with lights, traffic, etc should be the goal when feasible. This "no tolls" at whatever cost mentality is probably costing money, but because the two "cost" lines are not right next to each other they can't figure it out.
My two cents!
Mic Thanks this.
