Ok I havent loaded at the mill at Ft Smith in awhile and I gotta say I dont like the new "dont get out of your truck till the loader comes to you,for anything" rule. Just that much longer to load everyone since you must wait on loader to properly set up for a load. Sure you can put your boards out but if you dont know if they can belly load it all or split it or what, sigh its just aggravating the stupidity of a rule like this.

Hi, I have a pre-hire for Maverick. Any advise? I'm located in NJ and will be working flatbed. I could use info on trucks, equiping them and making it work for Maverick.

I saw you will be headed out with a trainer. He should be able to answer those questions for you. Maverick will have the truck pretty well set up. You just add the comforts of home. As for making it work at Maverick just be polite and a hard worker and while in training listen to everything. Keep a good attitude also as they will evaluate your attitude as well. Like I said ask your trainer any questions you have,he should know the answer or know how to find out the answer. Good luck

Are the trucks equiped with fridge, microwave, etc....or is that part of the comforts I need to add?

Yes you will need to bring those if you want them. Once you get your own truck that is,dont bring it with you to training.
