FaceBook, all I can say for sure is a comment was made that some folks should clean there FB up. No one singled out just general statement. if you were letting folks drive your very expensive truck and work for you and they had a web site set for public viewing wouldn't you look at it to see what type of person you may be hiring( just saying) makes you go hum... yes I did have twic and hazmat but not required.:biggrin_2556:

well another day down and another bites the dust and 1 hits the GH, like I said do not try to hide anything not even a seat belt ticket, when asked have you ever had something that means ever not ill see if they catch it or not, THATS LIEING. (GH) you will be. Enough said on that... Class was long today for me, a group stayed till 8 to do the Sims and some backing while waiting on the Sims oh yea and more paperwork today. Thats about it and my neck and eyes hurt from looking at them computer screens in class all day. Oh yea and I hope you like gravy gravy gravy gravy, it will be running through your veins.

Actually thats two questions :biggrin_25522: But they do give the money for the bus ticket if you fly, they did for me. Once at the airport call the hotel and they should send over the courtesy van to pick you up. Transportation to and from the training center is by the TMC bus which takes everyone.

Hey guy, EVERYBODY has "skeletens"(spell). How are they "finding" things out about people? As for gravy, do you mean the food kind or the easy kind? I know they are providing lunch, what have you been doing for dinner? And since you passed the physical and tarp test, does that basically mean smooth sailing for you now? I ask because of all the "horror" stories that have been posted about that.
    Good luck. See you monday.

when you fill your 1st app out if you put it all on there you are good if not you can add stuff day two, because the 1st background was a cheap county/state to save money ( because some folks just don't show up or make it past day one) so day two if you left something off better add it then because they do a fed.... background check if something pops up and you didn't list it you lied, now that doesn't mean when you list you go home you still could be good to go, if it doesn't come up bad you listed it no problem they will take off what you said it doesn't matter it didn't come up, ( so if you think you got a ticket write it down if it don't pop up no worries) basically be upfront and honest and they will work with you if they can, they don't send anyone home, (you send yourself home)
as for the gravy it's the food gravy and it's on everything they might as well put it in a cup and tell you it's soup, its good don't get me wrong but the food and gravy will add some pounds, just saying... as for dinner order out or eat in chrome cafe by hotel but after that gray lunch(1lb meatloaf, .5lb mashed potatoes oh yea smut herd in gravy, bread, potato salad, and desert, tea I'm done for the day( move my belt 1 notch each day. LOL) Its smooth sailing from day one if you are average fit, don't melt the piss cup, don't hide violations from them, oh yea the most important YOU CAN DRIVE A TRUCK it is a trucking company you will have to drive who would have think that.

everything ex88m says is true, i can vouch for it, im his roomate right now and in training with him as well. once you get past the physical/drug and lift test, pass background test, you are in control of whether you will make it or not. be prepared to only have a half hour on Tuesday night at Walmart. you aint gunna get a ton of stuff but small microwaveable meals or ramen noodle cups are a good way to save some money on dinner. The hotel staff is very friendly but remember it is operated by AHI. Be curtious and respect others. You will frequently get to talk to other drivers that are in Des Moines for the night, catch a thing or do. And yes there is gravy on everything and the meals are huge and delicious compared to the normal lunch place near home.

All the food there was great except the pasta and meatballs. Im sorry, maybe its cause im from jersey where there are real italian resturants but that had to be the worst one. Now the country fried steak was real good, with PLENTY OF GRAVY!
