When the needle is on e
. When I had a d-h and the reefer tank had to be full. At a service plaza in Indiana, I told the clerk I,m paying cash ring it up as pickup fuel. He said I can,t do that,so I saw a prime truck parked wrote the dot# and truck # down, gave the clerk those numbers and paid cash. That was driving a co. truck, with loose leaf logs.
VisionLogistics and 1958Pete Thank this. -
Where the price per gallon minus the state's fuel tax= the lowest number you can find. For example today, fuel tax is .3257 in FL, .1820 in GA
Loves in Ocala FL 4.22 - .3257= $3.89
Loves in Tifton GA 4.14 - .1820= $3.96
So while the price at the pump was .08 less in GA, the fuel was actually .07 more expensive after fuel taxes are accounted for.yotaman Thanks this. -
I fuel up at the Rebel Station near my house...and i have a rebel card so i usualy get 13 cents off the pump price...and pay in cash...Cheaper than Pilot..Flying Hoof or TA

If you feel the need you can just "forget" about a certain fuel ticket... for tax purposes just get a cash ticket made up for buying some used part you need or a couple of used tires. You spent the $$$ but you just deduct it on another line.

So was one of the places that he bought fuel at.
I am not sure how, but they found the time through the station. -
That works also. Must just be my luck but a fuel tax audit 1999 came up with some O/O's with a large gap in fuel for the miles.
