Saw a guys truck with a shelf over the passenger seat, up by the mesh areas. he had it fastened down and a microwave on it. Might work with a toaster oven. I am thinking about putting a printer up there...
Sitting at my 03 pickup in Yuma, AZ. Fresh Produce... First load ever for me. The 01, using one of those fancy two pallet wide fork lift loaded 3 pallets in the front... Spinach... very tall pallets. I put a load lock in front to keep him from blocking the chute and what does he do???? pushes the load lock all the way forward and blocks the chute. It didn't look blocked, but when I got to the 02, the chute was pulled from the ceiling. Driscolls in Yuma is an awesome place with great people, as they helped me fix the chute and reload the 01's pallets before loading theirs. The old guy even gave me the 6 inch wide roll of tape he let me use. There was a dent in the boxes that looked like a load lock... took pictures and talked to FM and shipper. Just make sure that the stuff is braced, so I put a loadlock up high to brace the tall pallets, and keep them from hitting the chute.
Don't get me started about the trailer that had a door that wouldn't shut. The rear door sensor broke off and sat on the seal, blocking the door from shutting all the way. Went and got that fixed before loading at the 01.
A1 Truck & Trailer repair is a very customer friendly place here that Prime Road Assist hooked me up with... Kudos to A1.. Blah

Back out on the road. BT from Wichita to Hutchinson, KS to get an MT from Tyson. Then took that to Cargill in Dodge City. The order was ready when I got there! So I am now sitting at the Love's in Hooker, OK enroute to deliver at Costco in Tracy, CA on Monday morning. I have seen trucks parked on the road there many times, but Prime's instructions says there is no O/N parking, including on the street. Anyone been there recently who knows whether we can still park out there overnight? Not really any truck stops nearby. Love's and FJ at Ripon look like the closest, 15-16 miles away.

Haven't had much luck with printers on hard surfaces in the truck. The vibration kills 'em after awhile. You should either think about some kind of shock mounting... or -
My current approach is to put the thing on the bunk when rolling. -
