Would like to know, from present and/or former drivers the pros and cons of Knight Transportation based out of Nashville, Tn.
Is Knight transportation a good outfit?

Large company, terminals all over the U.S.A. I personally have not had any major issues with this Co. that could not be handled with a little communication. Plenty of options for drivers local, regional or 48 states. I get the miles I need without begging 2500 to 3500 per week as long as I stay out of California. I am also not picky with what I get as long as I'm moving. Home time is good for me. I am out of the Phx Terminal and will say when I am in other regions it's a little harder to get dispatched on weekends or after hours. Hope this helps, good luck.

No, they will sleep with your wife while you are out for 8 weeks at a time. It's true, a driver at the lunch counter at the Weatherford, TX Petro told me so.

Type Knight in the search box. 100's of threads on them.

Lol. Be nice packrat. It's a new OP, and its a significant other!

Were they recently named best trucking company to work for by some big publication?

My experience with knight was a very bad one! And I only made around $400 weekly on avg. They have no solid customer base.

Good . Now ask about the BFI's (Bottom Feeders Inc)
-
I don't know . Were they ? Magazine editors don't have to drive for them . Dan England was elected Chairman of ATA . Does that make CRE a good company to work for ? WalMart gives awards to BFI's for their bottom feeder rate service . Are they good companies to drive for ?
