Danm, that's a tough one. At least you didn't tarp it. Or did you?

You are going to eat it one way or another.

Find some place that rents a bobcat nearby.

Unload the crap into a pile and let them sort it out.

Even if you loose the whole rate.

Then but that broker on your " do not use" list.

I am betting you shove into a pile of mess the first pick up off the trailer and the jerk will be all over taking it off himself and quick.

I like the idea of grabbing a crowbar and rolling them off one by one.

crow bar one at a time! it will go quickly once you get started and watch them start to scream.

I'd almost agree with that except then they would file a claim against his load insurance I would guess.

They can not file a claim against your insurance unless the load is damaged and it will be prety hard to damage ties by rolling them of the trailer. I would unload them by hand if i had to, cost alot less than missing more loads and doing more work for free. Scrible a name on the BL ,bill the broker and when they do not pay file a claim on there bond. The other thing you could do is sit and waite bill the broker for the extra miles and layover and when they do not pay take them to small claims court. Me though i would just unload it and cut my ties and eat the cost instead of investing more time in money to the load.

they can if you sell the load to a landscaper.

You were hired to deliver someone else's product to a customer. Not really your product to sell.

    windsmith Thanks this.
