I Understand that as well. For instance my load from SC picked up yesterday afternoon @ 3pm I'm in Walcott Ia just 120 miles from destination and do date is tmrw at 1600. MY 10hrs is up at about 6am. I'm going to go head and try to get it off early, but not sure if they will take it.

Just not interested in companies where you have enough time to do a 34hr reset on every load. I like being busy but not so busy I have to speed through construction zones because I'll be late. But putting in 500 plus miles in a day 600 would be even better.

I worked for marten for a brief minute and they had all the regional zones, and if you got stuck in them. You would end up doing 100 and 200 mile trips that took up your whole day. I don't mind being away from home, but I can do that and work local. You guys take care. Seen a Heartland truck on side of road broke down on 75 yesterday. I have seen on the heartland threads about mechanical issues. But guess that's trucks for ya. Keep pushin them miles truthin. Glad to see somebody happy about their Job.. You guys have a blessed weekend.

The dispatch group should also help you out with those loads that you get there that early, to try to reschedule to the appointment or if you can drop early. A lot times that just takes a phone call and depending on where you are delivering they will try to help with that. Were you able to deliver this one early? Have a great weekend

Yes I got that load off early. Kinda like those rolls of paper loads. Never really have a hard time getting them off. I'm off Worthington,mn then to Richmond, CA for tuesday. 257dh, and 1740 loaded.

Also is Heartland on Per diem or however you spell it pay. I did look on their site, but really not too much information. If they have a reefer division I'd probably be more interested, but time will tell. You guys keep feeding your family. I'm about to put this pete in the Big hole and woop woop truck it up. Again have a wonderful weekend.

Heartland does not offer Perdiem pay. It is not even an option.

Sounds like a slower week but even your slow weeks still gross at least around $1000 - good deal. I could never understand why people would want to settle for 32 cpm in OTR and have to drive 3000 miles a week and still make under $1000 at that. and not even get home for weeks at a time. You don't have to settle for that!

giants, have you ever worked for Heartland? and how long ago? you seem to have their number and are out to tear them down. that was the whole point of asking CURRENT drivers how they are doing at Heartland. they wouldn't be growing like they are if it were like you say. What is your purpose in trying to dispute what the current Heartland drivers on here are saying?? Do you know better than they know?

I know chromedome is a good man and isn't out to feed anyone lies or bs. He isn't over exaggerating or trying blow blow hot air out. He wad around 3 years ago giving sound and solid advice when i first started my career. They may not be the best but it sure seems chrome is doing just fine and will continue to whether anyone believes it or not.
