I haved joined on with Western Express and start oreintation Sunday.
Pretty nervous for this is my first job I just applied for and got hired on without a interview.
Does anyone have any insight on Western Express? Good, bad indiffernt?
I do not think they are the highest paying company out there but I am gonna get on with them and try them out for at least a year and see what happens after that.

did you check the section about the different companies? Congrats on your new job. Just run run run and keep your head up and you should do fine.

You pretty much answered your own question my friend. And try your darndest to stick to the 2nd part of your answer about sticking it out and you will be fine. Plus your in Harrisburg and they just opened up a new place across 78 from ya in Allentown so they aren't too far away from you, which could possibly equate to closer runs to home and more shots through the house....
Good luck!

There is also a big Western Express terminal in Nazareth PA.
Allentown is pretty close. Is this the one you're thinking about?
It's on hwy 248 right across from a big Esroc cement plant.
But if the OP is in Harrisburg that'll be about an 1.5 hr drive for em. Depending on traffic and road construction. Both are always a PITA in PA. -
That is the one man, thanks. And yeah,78 is a royal PITA at any time, day or night....

Western Express is forced freight. You may have 1.5 hours left before your 70 is up, and they will route you to kill 2 hours in driving.
Dont be surprised if they dont get you paid right off either. It was 7 weeks before I saw my first paycheck. -

I don't find 78 that bad..now going down 476 is always fun!
I went from Reading PA to Somerset NJ yesterday in 2 hours..around 8am.
Not always like that though.
