Is the quality pretty decent? How long is the training process. Are you paid during training at all?

Training is from 3-6 weeks paid at $300 a week. Quality?

You get your cdl through a school which the sole purpose is to get you your cdl..thats it..no sugar coating, no bs.
You then go with a trainer for average of a month..Thats where you actually learn what you need to know to succeed. This is typical of any company sponsored cdl school and training program..
Is it better or worse than a tech school? Depends on the person really. If you pick up on things pretty quick you'll be fine..if you want time to learn in a no stress environment..then go to tech school

My trainer only had 1 year of experiance.

I think PAM's training is good overall ... I had a good experience in my training time, learned a lot more of what it takes to make it in this industry ...$300 n something a week a rip off? maybe ... but in fairness, training is about learning, not about making money ... you'll have plenty of time to make money after training; just make sure you learn how to do this job the right way while in training cause you'll have too much to think about after training to be thinking about the basic stuff. -
I had 3 trainers.
First one had 2 years training, 3 years total.
Second one, well...lets just say he's over 100 students now, and he's been driving since before most of you had hair on your nether region ....
Third one...well now, I was his first student. He got his trainer truck 6 hours before he picked me up, and that's only because it took him 6 hours to get to where I was. He had worked for PAM for 6 months and 6 days. (3 day trainer orientation, mind you). Not saying he was a bad dude, but it was because of him that I waited at least till I was at my one year mark before even thinking about being a trainer...which, as luck will have it, was also the time when PAM started buying the 10 speeds...lol -
