Hello,
I just finished a 21 day on the job paid training program with C.R. England. It's time for me to upgrade to the next level of Englands training and I'm thinking about applying to a local company that requires travel to other states but I'll work about a 12 hour day 5 days a week with federal holidays off. I want to do a backgroud check of some sort on this company. The name is 3 Win Inc. it's located @ 147-29 183 street Jamaica, NY 11413. I found a USDOT # for it on the web: 1267746. I really just need to know if working for this company will count as verifiable experience that I can take with me when decide to move on. It would be nice if someone could help me look this company up. I went to some DOT websites and they seem to be registered with the DOT but I need some help making sure they are ok. Finally, I need to know if there is a way to proove experience if the former employer does not cooperate. Would tax returns do for example? If anything is unclear please let me know. I need some help from the experienced drivers.

Yes, your W-2's will work just fine. For verification.
Unfortunately, you will have NO OTR experience to report if you drive locally or regionally. Many companies will require you to ride with a trainer/finisher for a couple of weeks, should you decide to return OTR. -
Thanks for the reply. Is there a way I can find out if driving for this company will count as any experience? Some employers want your experience to have been with a DOT regulated company. This company seems to be regulated.

OTR Companies look for OTR experience. DOT regulated or not.
You can apply locally or regionally easy. But OTR will still be the kicker.
