i am sorry i drive one here in wyoming.is there anyway to get a tarp law so my load is not going all over at least the dust off the load. i hope i dont dump my load all over the i 80. i hope it isnt making the otr mad but the outfit does not care. they look at it like there is no tarp law. i feel bad about the dust going all over and i hope no rock is going all over. i am trying to find else where to work even though i live here in wyoming because there is no reason this outfit cant tarp the load so crap isnt going everywhere

why don't you go to home depot, get 3 - 2x2's ,ant a 20 foot piece of typar, attatch 1 2x2 to one end, pinch 2 2x2's on other end and roll it up. put 2 eye-bolts in the rolled up end for bungie cords and your done, takes two minutes to tarp w/out a ticket or a law. remember to cut the typar so it lays inside your side-boards and you shouldn,t have to bungie the middle. tell your boss you can't afford a ticket!

That exactly what we do here. Tho we only use 2 /2x4's. Take that tarp, roll around one 2x4 on ea end and staple the crap out of it or use tacks. bungy the one end to the front of trailer or secure with bolts. You just toss it over your load and the weight of the other 2x4 holds the tarp down normally. Bungy if you want.
When getn loaded, jump up and toss the tarp forward.
No rolling it up till your done for the day.
    Easy peasy!

usually we only have to tarp asphalt so the state is happy, but might tarp on the sand haul also. best thing for a tarp is a piece of pit-liner,tough as nails and wont melt or stick to asphalt, and you cant hardly tear it.
