Well not a good weekend I guess. Got a load Saturday from Mendards DC in Shelby, Iowa to St. Joseph, MO delivered Saturday at 1400. Then got a load in that picked up in Edwardsville, IL (318 miles empty) and am not able to pick it up till Sunday 1900 and the Loaded miles are only 450 miles delivering at 2345 Monday. APU AC needs to be worked on...Hopefully The week gets better cause Im right at my 4%.

He was home Friday afternoon and left today about 5. Headed to Coatesville to return a plate of steel that was to heavy for the customer to lift.

I am in Ellenwood for the night. Got here at like 2pm. Did some laundry and sat around b.s'ing with other drivers. Seems like quite a few unhappy people with Roehl lately. One guy actually cleaned his truck out and was quitting.

So I was told to bring my load here and they would figure out what I was doing come Monday morning. Couldnt understand why my delivery, which says is for tomorrow at 8am about 40 miles from here, why I wasnt told to just deliver it. Talked to a team couple that explained alot. I wont get into the details but I found it to be kind of stupid on Roehl's part. Now I have 17 straps on this load and can wait to get into the equipment area in the morning to replace them. The team however have to wait until morning to get theirs because they are locked up with no way to get in. They were pissed because now they have to spend the night and it screwd up their next load. Roehl needs to get there .... together. lol.

Oh well, laundry done, dinner made, now its Netflix time!

    Stay safe all!!!

lol we don't take dry van freight except at gun point! Wait, that kind of sounded like we are dry van freight bandits. Let me rephrase that: we don't take van freight unless we are forced!

    childerscarl1 Thanks this.

Hey I just realized I'm at the TA truck stop I was at when I started this thread back in October. Bloomsbury, PA, first time I've been back since.

It's been a weird weekend, we had a lot of time on this load and wanted to get our minimum daily training of 6 hours in each day, so I haven't driven this truck since Friday morning and frankly, it's making me crazy! :) My student is a really good driver, no shifting issues or anything. I just realized that I enjoy driving and I'm getting cabin fever or something. I'm driving into Newark tomorrow though. :)
