At a nice Rest Area I 90 W of butte MT,

 

You are 10 miles from me, at the house. You are at the only rest area on I-30 in the state of Texas with the exception of the one across the interstate from you. That Loves used to only hold about 20 or so trucks, much better now, but still a cluster like you said.

 

At Gordy's Truck Stop in La Pine, OR on US-97 about 30 miles south of Bend. Nice place w 10 trucks and room for dozens more. Picked up a 17k load of paper in Lewiston this morning headed for Modesto, CA. 17k is zippy on the hills but sucks to be in 55mph states.

At the J in Ripon, CA. Again. I was here a week ago for the same reason. A receiver who refuses one day early delivery. This one is only 14 miles away in Modesto at 8am. Hopefully get pplan overnight so I can keep moving.

If anyone's going north on I-5 into OR, WA plan on wicked bad weather. It was getting snotty from Shasta north when I came through earlier. Its forecast to be bad to severe all week with storms training in off the Pacific.
