Got back to the house last night with 25 minutes left on the 70 hours clock and It was going to be Tuesday before I got any hours back. Glad I made it! I feel like I'm actually at work. Going home means it's time to do chores and all the stuff the wife has left for me to do. At least when I'm in the truck I only have to do the "Truck Driver" thing! :biggrin_25522:

Well today sucked! lol. Not a really bad day but I didnt ddo much is all. I was told to drop my load in Ellenwood. No empty curtains so they sent me to Rome, Ga to pick one up. Drove back to Atlanta and fueled at the TA and that was it for the day. Oh well, I ran alot of miles the last 5 days so I am utilizing the rest time. I had enough points on my ultra card to pay for the buffet tonight. Omg i chowed down! lol.

I did get a load assignment for tomorrow and was ultra excited. 1800 plus mile run to Utah. I was pumped as I havent been out West yet. The only problem is I dont have the hours to do it. It can deliver Monday which means I could do it but I am due home on the 5th. Now i am relaying it in the St. Louis area. Sucks!

Well I am stuffed from the buffet. Time for a movie and then sleep.

    Stay safe all!!!

At the Hook in Lasalle, IL tonight. Drop and hook in the morning in Sterling and then pick up a load going to Minneapolis.

My microwave has stopped working. :-(

At the TA in Hebron, OH. I have a 2 stop load to deliver tomorrow. I have 150 miles and 3 hours to get to Pittsburgh for 0500 appt. I should be closer but man that Dollar General DC I was at last night got me all screwed up for this load but shouldn't be a problem making it on time. The 2nd stop is a drop and hook in Bedford Heights, OH. After that I will be heading for Mogadore for some hometime, which I am definetly ready for because it has been a rough 2 weeks.

At the Hook in Black River Falls, WI. Have a two stop in Minneapolis in the morning. Has actually been an interesting day. Drop and Hook at Walmart in Sterling, IL this morning. Only empty they had was 13 years old and our dedicated account, Georgia Pacific won't take it. So I bobtailed all the way back to Chicago.

Then the preload I picked up in University Park had a flat...joy! Off to the Petro in Monee for repair. Luckily it just needed a new valve stem.

Then I found out today that one of my dogs passed away over a month ago. When I moved back from Palm Springs, CA I gave my dog to our roommate because there were three dogs in the house and mine was the alpha dog. I knew better than to separate them. I'm actually pretty upset about his death and pissed off that they waited over a month to tell me. They didn't even tell me he was sick!

That sucks about your dog Notez. I have 3 myself and I consider them part of the family. I love them more than most people!

I am at the Flying J in Oak Grove, KY tonight. I got screwed up going from Atlanta to Athens, Ga this morning and went a bit out of route. My Fm didnt even seem ike he got an out of route msg or anything. The route I took was the same miles as the qualcomm routing so oh well.

Picked up this morning. 17 straps with 2 portables! Whew! It was actually very easy to strap, and I really wish I was delivering this load in Utah but I have a little over 5 hours left for tomorrow so relay time! lol. Dam it. With only 5 hrs I am notting getting very far tomorrow. I wont even leave here until I talk to my Fm and see where I am relaying it.

Well I got a nice hot shower and had some Dennys. Time for a movie or maybe even 2 if I can stay up. lol.

    Stay safe all!!!

Well since we are sharing downers, missed my sons 4th Birthday Sunday, but so did everyone else because my oldest daughter fell off the bunk bed and broke her wrist in two places, then my youngest daughter was hospitalized yesterday with pneumonia. All the while I'm out on the east coast as far away as possible from everyone. What a week. Sounds like a day in the life of Shots... :)
