attaching cable to attenna for freightliner

    I am running a 2012 freightliner Cascadia I am trying running the cable to the exsiting attenna but I try taking the mounting bracket off but I even try taking the console apart is there a easier way.:biggrin_25521:

    What is your SWR using the factory coax? Mine is not perfect, but close enough not to go digging thru the dash. I'm getting out 4-7 miles with a barefoot 29 and a Realistic mini cb.

    Be careful with that Cascadia factory setup. Make sure you check SWR at least weekly. Some of the trucks in our fleet have had issues with connections coming loose, while others have been great. Just depends on who assembled what that particular day at the factory.

    Same with our fleet.......they are junk but some work o.k., doubt that will be the case for long however.
