It takes weight off the steers and puts it on your drives. It is good and bad all at the same time. I am heavy on my drives due to the tanks and all my flatbed equipment, but at least I can work with it as where of the weight was on the steers, I'd be stuck.

even with set back tanks and set forward axle i am usually ok because of my spread axle trailer....actually never been heavy on drives...even over 80k
ig you got a big cat under the hood and a set back axle...set back tank is usually a must -
The big advantage is that you can run the trailer closer to the cab, reducing the air gap. This helps on improving your MPG's.Nikosdad Thanks this.
