This thought ran thru my tiny mind today.
I don't know why it took me so long to realize this.

All of this stuff is just smoke and mirrors.
All the rhetoric about Mexican this & that.

Its all about bringing more taxpayers into the country.
It's all about the goobermint preping for the retirement of baby boomers.
It's all about white people having less children per family to bolster the middle class tax brackets.

Instead of 4-6 kids per white family, we're running maybe 1-2 per family.
Many white couples elect to not have kids or wait till their later yrs to do it.

The goobermint needs taxpayers & aren't too bashful about where they come from.

Why do you think there's absolutely no movement on Goobermints part to curtail the slippage of illegals thru the holes in our borders?

Why do you think nothing the general public says has anything but token bearing on the outcomes?
Why do you think there's such a push for legitimizing & legalizing the immigrants?

    Follow the money.
    I get it now.

Very well put, Uncle George tried to get his bill passed allowing the mexicans to become legal for a fee so they could all be tax payers. If I break the law I go to jail if illegals immigrants do it they get a free pass dosent make much sense to me.

A friend of mine, very staunch Republican, blames the Democrats for all of the illegals coming from Mexico. He said if they had let the Republicans stop them, they wouldn't be here now.

The present situation has taken years to arrive.
It's either been ignored, embraced, or gone according to plans. I doubt it's a result of an accident or fate.

I have no problems with legal immigration and/or legal operation of Big trucks within our borders --- within REASON.

I can understand those who see this as a good thing.
And I can understand those who don't agree.

And I think I'm beginning to understand the spin our gubment is putting on it.
But, then again, name for me three things our gubment does well, besides spinning.
    I'm gettin' dizzy.

I've been following this more closely now that the cork is out of the bottle, and the neck of said bottle is tilted northerly.
The "safety" issue is, of course, of great concern to me.
And I'm sure there are willing, able and deserving Mexican Big truck drivers, capable of doing a superb job north of the border. Just as there are NOW Big truck drivers HERE, that I would prefer be driving down south instead.

But recently, and thanx to Cybergal and others for starting these informative threads, I'm becoming more and more concerned with the Mexican people's attitude's.
And are their collective "attitudes" influenced by their el-gubment, the same el-gubment that champions a billion-dollar income from monies sent "home" by illegal workers and possibly drug importers.

Now the Mexican Big truck drivers are sitting at the border making what?......thank-you cards?
    No!
    They seem to be making................
    DEMANDS!?
    Hmmmmmmmmm
    Go figure,....................

Imagine when they're drivin' them Big Mexican trucks, owned by American companies as well as Mexican companies, up north, -- and they take offense to SOMEthing or the other.
    WHOAH NELLY!
    PoP those air valves, amigos!
    WE'RE shuttin' down.
    Siesta time.
    Doncha know.

Fill up those empty parking places.
Put the squeeze on American Industries.
Just in time freight -- just got late.

    Who'll take up the slack?
    American drivers?
But, I thought American drivers don't WANT the job?

    It's a "control" move.

    But heck!
I'm betting they'd still allow AMERICAN Big truck drivers to come on down south and fetch the loads.
Now THAT'S a job most Americans actually DON'T WANT to do.
    Ya reckon.

LOL, tell that to our Attourney General that GW BUSH sheltered while all of this was going on: Gonzolas, the child of illegal immigrants!

Jeb Bush is shipping in illegals on FL cruise ships (now from China, you heard it here first!) and all the Republican State Gov's on the Rio Grande border pile them in, with daily totals over a hundered thousand per day average.

Tell me again how Dems in major Northern Cities are smugling them in??? :biggrin_25523:

the pay scale all ready down I worked with bunch of Mexican drivers a lot of them were good people the problem I saw was they took to many risk all for the pay check driving truck that needed repairs ,over on their hours, driving 100 mph to get point A and B. The sad part lot of these company's know it going on but don't care because it putting more money in their pockets until the company's and the drivers change their attitude thing would be lot safer and better:biggrin_25516:

people are scared of what they dont understand. what is the big deal with mexicans crossing the border to work and better there life for them and their families. mexicans do all the jobs that nobody eles wants to do and everybody is complaining. fine with the thinking going on here why just not get rid of everybody that is not anglo saxon full blooded american. ninety percent if not more of the population would be gone out of america. no other country whines and cries about every little thing more than america. this country has such an attitude of we do not want to do anything about it we just want to complain about it.
