I'm to pick up in Crossett, AR at GP plant going to GP plant in Muskogee, OK. Pick up and del are both asaps and drop/hook at both. Not a bad run. Maybe I'll get lucky and get into Ft Worth and I can beg for new truck. Or real repairs to current one. Lol. I think my chances are slim on either.

Nows a good time to get hold of your terminal manager. Let him know the truck is old and needs repairs and you don't want the downtime.

Atleast they are keeping you moving.

Lol. Recruiter in a truck like the rest of us. I must be one as well because I can agree with most of your statements. Drivers make it or break it for themselves. So far, these guys have been straight with me. So no complaints here.

I arrived to shipper and what a mess. All of the loads coming out of here are on a new system and a new contractor as of a week ago is handling all the BOLs. Mine isn't ready. There is about 20 of us here all in same boat. Plant is going fully automated, loading included. They are doing a test to load 36 trailers in 1 hr. Mine is one of the test run loads. So I'm hanging out with the drivers and after listening to all the crying for last hour, I came back to truck to do better things. Too much negatively for me. No one wanted to hear the positives and some seemed over exaggerated to me anyway.

Going to get a good rest for nice run tomorrow.Maybe I'll get preplanned on some western stuff for a little bit since I'm not requesting to be home until next weekend. :) Running the graveyard runs is hard on the body after being used to being up during the days. I did notice those runs had more miles...
