My husband starts orientation Monday. I've read a lot of these threads and several of them mention bringing a notarized copy of his birth certificate. Why is that? He was born in another country (naturalized citizen) so his birth certificate won't be notarized and won't look anything like what someone here would expect to see in a birth cert. He does plan on bringing his U.S. Passport.

    Thanks,

US Passport is sufficient if its current.

It proves US Citizenship and date of birth. Its good enough for DMV and TSA is will be good enough for orientation.

Thanks. It's not on the list of what he is to bring but it is regularly mentioned on the forums I wondered if we were missing something.
